Durango Fiesta Days Rodeo
Our Mission:
To celebrate and preserve the rich
Western heritage of Durango, Colorado, through exciting, family-friendly rodeo events. We aim to showcase the skills of local and professional cowboys and cowgirls while fostering community spirit, promoting local culture, and supporting youth rodeo programs. Our goal is to provide a thrilling and authentic rodeo experience hat honors tradition and creates lasting memories for
all attendees.
The event started way back in 1935 and was formerly known as the “Spanish Trails Fiesta”. It’s an important festival in Durango that celebrates its local flavors and colorful heritage. This year’s Fiesta Days takes place at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. The 90th anniversary of Durango Fiesta Days, established in 1935, features Queen Contest, Rodeo, 4D Barrel Jackpot, Team Roping Slack, BBQ/Pie Auction/Street Dance, Slack, and various local vendors.
Locals and visitors will be provided with the best entertainment and activities. It’s a perfect family event that truly illustrates the word “fiesta” done the Durango way.
